Project Overview

Arizona Western College sought to establish a dedicated Transfer Services Center on its Yuma, Arizona campus, creating a centralized hub to guide students through the transfer process to four-year institutions. The project, valued at $1,000,000, represented a meaningful investment in student success infrastructure. The client, a regional contractor pursuing the engagement, faced the challenge of translating a community-focused academic program into a compelling competitive pursuit. PRESWERX was brought in to develop the full pursuit package, including a proposal, presentation, renderings, animations, and hands-on presentation coaching.

Client Challenges

The client pursued a competitive bid for a student-centered educational facility, where the owner's mission had to resonate through every deliverable. Key challenges included:

  • Communicating a student services program as a physical environment that would resonate with an academic owner and selection committee

  • Visualizing the finished facility before construction began, giving the committee a clear and confident picture of the final product

  • Differentiating the team in a field of competing contractors pursuing the same opportunity

  • Preparing the team to deliver a polished, confident performance during the live selection interview

Together, these challenges called for a pursuit strategy that was both visually compelling and story-driven from start to finish.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive pursuit package for the Arizona Western College Transfer Services Center engagement. The team produced a fully formatted proposal that articulated the client's qualifications and approach in a format tailored to an academic owner's expectations. Custom renderings and animations brought the proposed facility to life, giving the selection committee a detailed visual of the finished Transfer Services Center before a single wall was built. PRESWERX also developed a structured presentation and provided hands-on coaching to sharpen the team's delivery, ensuring each presenter communicated with confidence and clarity during the live interview.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the pursuit as a unified storytelling challenge, building every deliverable around the owner's mission of expanding student access to four-year transfer pathways. The team worked across three parallel tracks:

  • Developed a proposal narrative that connected the client's construction experience directly to the academic and programmatic goals of Arizona Western College

  • Produced renderings and animations that gave the selection committee a vivid, accurate visual of the completed facility, reducing ambiguity and building confidence in the proposed design

  • Conducted structured presentation coaching sessions that prepared the client's team to speak to the project with authority, anticipate committee questions, and guide the room through the project story

The result was a cohesive pursuit package where every touchpoint reinforced what mattered most to the owner.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a full-spectrum pursuit package held to a high standard of visual quality and narrative precision. Each deliverable served a specific role in the client's selection strategy:

  • The proposal gave the owner a clear, well-organized account of the client's qualifications and approach, tailored to an academic institution's review process

  • Renderings and animations translated the proposed design into an accessible visual story the committee could evaluate with confidence, removing guesswork from the decision

  • Presentation coaching equipped the client's team to enter the live interview prepared, composed, and capable of guiding the committee through the project with clarity

The client went into the selection with a complete, high-quality pursuit package and a team ready to perform at its best.
