Project Overview

The Haile Middle School project encompassed a ten classroom addition paired with a comprehensive renovation of a Bradenton, Florida campus for the School District of Manatee. The $36.1 million scope addressed roofing, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems, interior finishes, the building envelope, technology infrastructure, campus safety and security, fire alarm and protection systems, kitchen configuration and food service equipment, site canopy and walkways, and paving and storm water conditions. With so many interdependent systems under evaluation across an active school campus, the client needed a pursuit presentation that could organize the full scope into a clear, credible story. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to build that presentation.

Client Challenges

Presenting a renovation that touched nearly every system on an occupied middle school campus required a clear way to organize a wide ranging scope for the selection committee:

  • Communicating ten distinct system evaluations, from roofing to fire protection, as one coordinated plan rather than a checklist.

  • Demonstrating how a ten classroom addition would integrate with the existing campus without disrupting school operations.

  • Standing out in a competitive bid for a large public school district contract.

Together, these challenges called for a presentation that turned a sprawling scope into a single, coherent narrative.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a full pursuit presentation for the interview, framing the ten classroom addition and full system renovation as a single integrated campus improvement plan. The team produced renderings that visualized the new classroom addition alongside upgraded building systems, giving the selection committee a clear picture of the finished campus before construction began. PRESWERX also provided presentation coaching, working directly with the client's team to organize the wide scope, from roofing to kitchen equipment to site drainage, into a presentation that read as one coordinated project rather than a list of separate repairs.

PRESWERX Approach

With ten major systems and a new classroom addition to explain, PRESWERX built the pursuit around a single organizing narrative and rehearsed delivery.

  • Grouped the scope into clear categories spanning building systems, safety, and site work so the story stayed easy to follow.

  • Produced renderings that showed the classroom addition and renovated spaces as a finished, unified campus.

  • Coached the client's team through rehearsals to reinforce pacing and command of the full scope.

The result was a presentation that made a wide ranging renovation feel like one clear plan.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete set of renderings and a rehearsed presentation built to the standard of a major public school district selection process.

  • The renderings gave the committee a finished view of the classroom addition and renovated campus systems.

  • The organized narrative structure turned ten separate system evaluations into one clear story.

  • Presentation coaching gave the client's team confidence and command of the material heading into the interview.

The client's team walked into the selection interview with a clear, well rehearsed story and finished visuals to support it.
