Project Overview

The International Swimming Hall of Fame redevelopment was a landmark $190 million public-private partnership in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, situated on a 5-acre waterfront peninsula along the Intracoastal Waterway. The project called for a full reimagining of the ISHOF campus, encompassing FINA-compliant competition pools, the first 27-meter permanent dive tower in the United States, a museum expansion, a marine aquarium, waterfront dining, and event venues. The client pursued the project as development partner in a competitive P3 procurement spanning multiple rounds. PRESWERX supported the effort with proposal graphics, renderings, animations, films, and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges

The client faced a high-stakes P3 procurement that demanded more than a strong technical record: they had to make a complex, multi-phase waterfront destination feel like one compelling vision.

  • The project's scope (multiple buildings, competition pools, museum facilities, and hospitality venues) was difficult to communicate as a unified concept without strong visual support.

  • The selection committee required materials that conveyed both technical competence and an experience-driven vision for an iconic public waterfront site.

  • Multiple competitive rounds raised expectations at each stage, requiring increasingly polished materials and a presentation team prepared to perform under pressure.

Each round demanded fresh thinking, consistent quality, and a team that could communicate the project's ambition with clarity and confidence.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced a full suite of pursuit materials across multiple competitive rounds for the ISHOF redevelopment. Proposal graphics translated the project's complex program into a clean, visually compelling document structure aligned with the owner's evaluation criteria. Photorealistic renderings brought the waterfront campus to life, communicating design quality and scale before construction began. Animations and films conveyed the project's ambition and the client's team vision in formats suited for both printed submittals and live presentations. Presentation coaching prepared the client's team to deliver with confidence and consistency across all three selection rounds.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the ISHOF pursuit as a storytelling challenge as much as a production challenge. With a complex program and a public committee evaluating competing visions for an iconic site, the work had to connect emotionally as well as technically.

  • PRESWERX developed a cohesive visual narrative that unified the campus components into a single, legible destination concept, giving evaluators a clear picture of the finished project.

  • Renderings and animations were produced at a quality level that matched the project's ambition, positioning the client's team as well-prepared to deliver on a high-profile waterfront commitment.

  • Coaching sessions were structured around the specific pressures of each competitive round, keeping the presentation team aligned, sharp, and ready to respond to committee questions.

The result was a pursuit package that gave the client the clarity, quality, and confidence to compete at the highest level through all three rounds.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package held to the standard of a $190 million waterfront destination with national visibility. Every deliverable was built to communicate the scale, quality, and vision of one of the most competitive public-private partnerships in South Florida.

  • Proposal graphics organized the project's complexity into a submission that was thorough, visually consistent, and easy for evaluators to navigate.

  • Renderings and animations gave the selection committee a vivid picture of the proposed campus, reducing ambiguity and reinforcing the team's design vision at every stage.

  • Presentation coaching brought the client's team to each selection round rehearsed, aligned on message, and prepared to perform under competitive pressure.

The client entered every round with polished materials, a practiced delivery, and a clear story worth hearing.
