Project Overview
The Lake Howell High School renovation in Winter Park, Florida delivers a comprehensive multi-building campus upgrade for Seminole County Public Schools. The $28,800,000 project encompasses the remodel and renovation of an auditorium, music and multipurpose spaces, gymnasium, and three classroom buildings, with potential for building replacement or rearrangement to improve campus layout. Delivered under a Construction Manager at Risk approach with a phased strategy to keep the active campus operational, the project addresses decades of deficiencies across facilities built between 1974 and 1997. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop a presentation, coaching, renderings, and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.
Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where five aging school buildings had to become one convincing renovation story:
A campus spanning facilities from 1974 to 1997, including an auditorium, gym, and classroom blocks, required imagery that made the full scope feel organized.
A phased CMR approach on an active high school required a presentation that made construction continuity and student safety feel central.
Seminole County Public Schools evaluating a $28.8M renovation required renderings and animations that made the upgraded campus feel complete.
Together, these called for a package that made a complex renovation feel as prepared for students as the campus it would become.
Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the Lake Howell High School renovation in Winter Park, Florida. The presentation organized the multi-building renovation scope, covering the CMR approach, phasing strategy, and the renovation of the auditorium, music and multipurpose spaces, gymnasium, and three classroom buildings across the active campus. Renderings depicted the upgraded buildings and campus, giving Seminole County Public Schools' evaluation team a visual picture of the modernized high school. Animations brought the renovation to life in a dynamic format. PRESWERX also provided coaching to prepare the team to deliver the presentation confidently.
