Project Overview

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute's planned office building expansion in Tampa, Florida represented a significant addition to one of the nation's leading cancer research and treatment campuses. The project called for a new facility designed to accommodate Moffitt's growing clinical and research workforce, adding dedicated administrative and support space to a campus already known for its complexity and operational intensity. The general contractor needed a pursuit package that could communicate the team's qualifications and approach clearly and compellingly to a sophisticated owner. PRESWERX was engaged to develop the full range of pursuit marketing deliverables, from written proposal through presentation, visual renderings, animation, and film.

Client Challenges

Competing for a high-profile healthcare expansion required more than a capable construction team. The client needed to present a unified, credible story across multiple formats to a discerning selection committee:

  • Translating a complex office building program into a clear, compelling narrative that aligned with Moffitt's institutional priorities

  • Differentiating the team's healthcare construction experience in a competitive field of qualified general contractors

  • Producing photorealistic visual content that conveyed design intent before a single shovel hit the ground

  • Preparing the team for a live selection interview with a mission-driven owner that expected polished, confident delivery

Without a unified approach, strong individual deliverables risked competing rather than reinforcing one another.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a comprehensive suite of pursuit marketing materials tailored to the Moffitt Office Building project. The team produced a polished written proposal that framed the client's qualifications, project approach, and healthcare construction expertise in direct alignment with Moffitt's selection criteria. Presentation materials provided a structured, visually cohesive story built for the live interview setting. Photorealistic renderings brought the proposed facility to life, giving the selection committee a concrete sense of the finished building before construction began. An animated walkthrough extended that visual clarity into motion, while a project film gave the client a dynamic, high-impact tool for the final stages of the pursuit.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the Moffitt Office Building pursuit as a single integrated story rather than a collection of separate deliverables. Every element was built to reinforce the same themes and speak to the same priorities:

  • Developed the proposal narrative and visual language in parallel, so written content and renderings reinforced the same story from the start

  • Structured the presentation around the selection committee's priorities and the client team's specific strengths, not a generic project overview

  • Coached the client's presenters through live rehearsals to sharpen delivery, tighten timing, and build confidence before the interview

The pursuit package that came together was disciplined and cohesive, with each piece earning its place in the overall story.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete, production-ready pursuit package held to a standard appropriate for a nationally recognized cancer institution. Every deliverable was designed to raise the client's credibility with a discerning owner:

  • Proposal documents gave the selection committee a clear, well-organized account of the team's qualifications, approach, and commitment to the project

  • Photorealistic renderings and an animated walkthrough translated design intent into a vivid picture of the finished facility, removing ambiguity for the owner

  • A professional project film and targeted presentation coaching gave the client's team a rehearsed, confident narrative ready for the selection stage

The client entered the selection process with a unified story, polished materials, and a team prepared to deliver under pressure.
