Project Overview

The Polyhose Warehouse was an industrial facility expansion for Polyhose Inc., an India-based hose manufacturer, located within Pender Commerce Park in Wilmington, North Carolina. The project involved doubling the size of the company's existing facility, expanding its manufacturing and warehousing footprint to meet growing production and distribution demands. The development represented a significant investment in Polyhose's North American operations and its presence in the Wilmington market. To support the pursuit, the client engaged PRESWERX to produce renderings and animations communicating the scope and character of the expanded facility.

Client Challenges

The client needed to communicate the scale and ambition of a major industrial expansion to a sophisticated international owner, before construction began:

  • Visualizing a doubled facility footprint in a way that conveyed operational scale and credibility to an international manufacturer with high expectations.

  • Presenting the expansion in context within Pender Commerce Park to demonstrate the project's fit within the existing development.

  • Differentiating the client's approach to delivering a large-scale industrial build for an owner making a significant capital investment in its North American operations.

Together, these challenges required visuals precise enough to make the scope and character of the expansion clear and credible.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the client's pursuit of the Polyhose warehouse expansion at Pender Commerce Park in Wilmington, North Carolina. The deliverables visualized the expanded facility, which was planned to double the footprint of the owner's existing operations, communicating both the project's industrial scale and its integration within the commerce park setting. The renderings captured the facility at a level of detail suited to the expectations of an international manufacturer making a significant capital investment. The animations brought the completed expansion to life, giving the owner a dynamic view of the project's scope and site presence.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX focused on producing visuals that matched the scale and specificity of a large industrial expansion for an international owner audience.

  • Developed renderings that communicated the footprint and character of the doubled facility, giving the owner a concrete visual benchmark for the expanded operation.

  • Created animations that placed the completed expansion in context within Pender Commerce Park, making the project's scale and site presence immediately clear.

  • Calibrated the visual treatment to reflect the standards of a sophisticated international owner investing in a major North American facility.

The result was a set of deliverables that made a significant industrial expansion tangible and straightforward to evaluate.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete set of renderings and animations built for an industrial pursuit with an international owner audience. Each deliverable was crafted to communicate scale and quality without ambiguity.

  • Renderings gave the owner a precise visual understanding of the doubled facility footprint and its character within the commerce park setting.
