Project Overview
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport undertook the construction of Terminal 5, a new 180,000 square foot concourse at the airport's east end, with a total project value of $404,000,000. The expansion added five new gates with designated hold rooms, a TSA checkpoint, ticketing counter, curbside expansion, concessionaires, ramp aircraft parking, and an in-line hydrant fueling system. A multistory passenger bridge connected the new terminal to Terminal 4, and a new ground transportation center served both facilities. The client pursued the construction management contract and engaged PRESWERX to develop a competitive pursuit package.
