Project Overview

The Timpanogos Water Treatment Plant represented a $288 million infrastructure investment for the Timpanogos Special Service District in American Fork, Utah. The project upgraded and modernized the region's water treatment capacity to meet growing community demand and evolving regulatory requirements. The scope encompassed major civil, mechanical, and process improvements to a critical public utility serving Utah County. To compete at this scale, the client needed a pursuit partner capable of translating complex engineering content into a compelling, visually rich submission. PRESWERX provided proposal development, presentation design, presentation coaching, renderings, animations, and film production.

Client Challenges

The client faced a technically complex scope and a discerning public agency owner. A strong track record alone would not be sufficient:

  • Communicating a $288 million infrastructure upgrade as a clear, unified story for a non-technical public audience

  • Visualizing process systems and design intent before construction began

  • Differentiating the team in a competitive public procurement field

  • Preparing the project team for a high-stakes live selection presentation

Each challenge called for a different response. Together, they required a fully integrated pursuit strategy.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the Timpanogos Water Treatment Plant upgrade, covering every phase from written submission through interview. The team developed a comprehensive proposal that organized the client's technical qualifications, project approach, and team credentials into a persuasive, cohesive document. Purpose-built renderings and animations brought the plant's upgraded systems to life, giving the owner a concrete visual picture of the design before construction began. A custom presentation translated the proposal's key themes into a compelling visual narrative, and focused coaching sessions prepared the client's team to deliver it with confidence on selection day.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX treated the Timpanogos pursuit as one integrated engagement, aligning strategy, content, and visuals from day one:

  • Defined a clear win theme early, shaping both proposal narrative and presentation structure around the owner's stated priorities

  • Produced renderings and animations that translated complex infrastructure systems into visuals a public agency audience could immediately grasp

  • Ran focused coaching sessions to sharpen delivery and build presenter confidence before the selection event

Every element of the pursuit reinforced the same story, giving the client a coordinated, professional presence from submission through interview.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a pursuit package matched to the scale of a $288 million public infrastructure selection:

  • The proposal transformed a technically complex scope into a clear narrative that guided evaluators through the client's qualifications and approach

  • Renderings and animations gave the owner a concrete visual understanding of the upgraded plant before construction began

  • Coaching sessions produced a presentation team that was confident, composed, and prepared to respond to panel questions

The client arrived at the selection event with a polished package and a team prepared to compete at the highest level.
